20th HISWA Yacht Design Symposium
BMT Nigel Gee Ltd, in conjunction with Devonport Royal Dockyard, have recently undertaken research analysing the benefits of various framing systems for large displacement motor yachts. The results of these studies were presented in November at the 20th HISWA Symposium on Yacht Design and Construction in Amsterdam.

The HISWA Symposium began in 1969 and is one of the world's leading symposiums in the area of yacht building and yacht construction in relation to scientific developments in this field. It is held bi-annually, organised by the HISWA Association, Delft University of Technology and Amsterdam RAI, organizer of METS, the Marine Equipment Trade Show held annually in Amsterdam.
