Past Projects

BMT Nigel Gee And Associates signed with RMK Yachts of Tuzla in Turkey to provide 3D design and routing of all piping systems for this striking 52m S&S ketch.

Using ShipConstructor all pipe modeling was routed for minimum weight and best access. During the modeling process, automatic clash detection between pipework, ducting, cable routes, structure and equipment was carried out using NavisWorks to ensure that no conflicts exist. When the modeling was completed a clear 3D visualisation of all the engineering spaces was achieved.

BMT provided comprehensive information for shipyard production to RMK including fully detailed pipework arrangement drawings, pipe spool drawings, bills of material, accurate material cut lists & system weights, as well as a full 3D machinery arrangement.
